He was a retired pipeline engineer after working for 60 years all over the world and a
total of sixteen foreign countries.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Hofmeister Thompson of Odessa, Pamela Christine Hughes and husband Terry of Aurora, Minnesota, Russell Thompson and wife Elizabeth of El Paso, Quanah Warren Thompson and wife Florecita of Ft. Worth, Deanna Paine and husband Randy of Odessa, Karen Renee Bates of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Jennifer Ann Thompson of Odessa, Cory Allen Thompson of Odessa, sister, Margaret Bullock of Odessa, fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10:00am Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Quanah Thompson officiating.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home.
