Wileda Jewell Partridge Chisholm Prejean, 87, of Baytown, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Baytown, Texas. She was born September 22, 1928 in Merkel, TX to D. Elbert & Helen Partridge. She graduated from Odessa High School, & Odessa College with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She was an accountant for 30 years. She was a Genealogist active in Hardin County General Society, Kountze, TX for fifteen years. She was an Organist & Pianist for her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Joseph Leonard Chisholm & Every J. Prejean.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Chisholm DiCarlo, Patricia Chisholm Burke & husband John Eugene Burke of Amarillo, (6) grandchildren, John Joseph Burke, Timothy Aaron Burke, Susan Kathleen Burke, Jennifer DiCarlo Hardin, Debra DiCarlo Herring & Michael J. DiCarlo & (7) great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hardin County Genealogy Library, 220 W. Main St., Kountze, TX 77625.
