

Bill was a man of many talents and interests, truly a jack of all trades. He found great joy in riding motorcycles, lifting weights, and remodeling projects. Known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, Bill touched the lives of countless people through his generosity, kindness, and unwavering support. He was a strong man in mind, body, and spirit, and his love for others was evident in everything he did.
Above all, Bill cherished his family and the relationships he built throughout his life. His presence, strength, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother, Joy Smedley and family; his sister, Ladawn Powell and family; his daughter Maliza Freeman and husband Joel, and their son, Coast Freeman, daughter Kimberly Roach, and daughter Candi Ray and her children; stepdaughter Shyanna Durham; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Bill's memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved and those whose lives he touched with his strength, compassion, and generous spirit.
