In the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Dear Friend Yolanda H. Garcia. Mrs.Garcia 59, of Odessa, Texas went to our heavenly Father on March 07, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at her hospital bedside at Medical Center Hospital. Yolanda Hernandez united in marriage with Hector Garcia in Odessa, Texas in 1976 which they shared 40 years of marriage together. Yolanda was born on May 19, 1956 in Midland, Texas to Rosale and Josephine S. Hernandez. Before her illness, she worked at Medical Center Hospitals` Housekeeping Department, & also as a Home Health Provider, She enjoyed being a stay at home Mother and loved spending time with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her loving, nurturing heart and would go out of her way to help her loved ones in need. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Hector Garcia Sr. of Odessa, Texas , children: Daughter: Rosale and husband Bryan of Odessa and Son: Hector Garcia, Jr of Odessa, and 6 (six) grandchildren. She is also survived by Brothers: Arturo Hernandez , Carlos Hernandez and Robert Hernandez all of Odessa, Texas and Frank Hernandez of Los Angeles, California. Sisters: Cathy Alvarez, Cristina Mancha, Diana Chavez all of Odessa, Texas, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. We the Hernandez, Garcia family would like to take this time and express out utmost sincere gratitude to each and everyone of you for all the prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during the most difficult time. May God Bless you all Abundantly.

Pallbearers will be her nephews

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, March 09, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson, Odessa, Texas. The Mass will be Celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Uecker, officiating. At the family’s request interment will be held at a later date.
