Abel Romo

Abel A. Romo, age 91, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, Primitivo A. E. Romo and Martha Albidrez, his sister, Mary Luz, his brother, Juan Luis, his wife, Sylvia O. Romo, his son, Abel Romo, Jr., and his great grandson, Christopher Jerome Stowers. He is survived in death by his brothers and sisters, Inez Ramirez, Primitivo Romo, Jr., Connie Sanchez, Ophelia Garcia, Josie Mendez, and Domingo Romo, by his sons and daughters and their spouses, Connie and husband, James Dalton, Danny and wife, Lori Romo, Santos and wife, Maricela Romo, Julie Stowers, and Bert and wife, Cheryl Romo, and by his 21 grand kids, 54 great grand kids, and 4 great great grandkids. A visitation for Abel will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 4201 S McKinley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109. A graveside will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7500 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
