Adamae "Ada" Helms

Adamae 'Ada' Helms passed away on July 28, 2012, leaving behind her loving husband of almost 63 years, Bob Helms, son Mike and daughter-in-law Sara Helms, daughter Sharon and son-in-law Walter (Ski) Siweckyj, sister Thelma and brother-in-law Clary Spencer, grandchildren Alison Siweckyj and Chris Carlson, sister-in-law Janis Galloway, and a host of extended family and friends. Ada was born in Meeker, Ok, to Walter and Beaulah Galloway on Aug. 5, 1932. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard Galloway and granddaughter Amy Helms.

Ada will be remembered for her caring, loving ways, her love for and devotion to family, and her passion for fishing, hunting, being with friends, laughter, and cooking for loved ones. Nothing gave her greater joy than preparing home cooked meals for gatherings of friends and family. She took great pride in her three grandchildren, with whom she had very special bonds. She will remain a joy in our hearts forever.
