Agnes M. Hau

Agnes "Aggie" Magdalena Hau, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, of Oklahoma City, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 13, 2010. She was born to Franz and Edna Kauper on December 7, 1931 near Kingfisher, OK where she spent most of her childhood. She married William F. Hau in 1955 and moved to Oklahoma City where she raised her four daughters. Agnes loved her family and made friends everywhere she went. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and traveling around the state to various craft fairs. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will always be remembered for the lovable woman that she was and for her wonderful sense of humor. She will also be remembered for her courageous and determined battle with breast cancer.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband William Hau; sister Kathy Napier; brother Richard Kauper; brothers-in-law Donald Napier and Bud Funk; and son-in-law Dale Wilkerson.

She is survived by her daughters Linda Wilkerson of Mustang, OK, Janie Jayroe and husband Mike of Edmond, OK, Dianne Newman of Yukon, OK and Karen Gerner and husband Dennis of OKC; grandchildren Melissa Wilkerson, Kayla Wilkerson, Crystal Jayroe, Lisa (Jayroe) Riley and husband Dylan, Bradley Jayroe, Samantha Newman and Joshua Gerner; sisters Fran Funk of Farmington, NM and Dee Randall and husband Laurance of Okarche, OK; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 18th at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Okarche, OK.
