

Alan Gale Barfelz, 50 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, passed away October 31, 2010 in Cushing, OK. Born March 13, 1960 in Altus, OK, he was the son of Gale Carlson Barfelz and Gwendolyn Beth Byrd Barfelz. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Beth Barfelz. Alan loved to watch TV; help his Dad; model railroads; deer hunting; fishing; and camping. In the last year he had become an avid Dominoes player and loved to play Farkle (Dice Game). He was a computer whiz who had worked in telephone customer service for many years. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Gail Tharp Barfelz of the home; his father and step-mother, Gale and Joan Barfelz of Tryon, OK; 2 sons, Gregory and James Barfelz of the home; 2 daughters, Melissa and her husband Brian Smith of Oklahoma City, OK; Rebecka Barfelz and her fiance Mike Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 grandchildren, Adrianna Smith; Myesha Williams; and De'Nivya Williams; 1 brother, Max and his wife Joan Barfelz of Oklahoma City, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with Larry Roberts officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
