OBITUARY

Alibeth Bode Dietz

February 18, 1925 – July 26, 2025
Obituary of Alibeth Bode Dietz
IN THE CARE OF

Chapel Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens

Mrs. Alibeth B. Dietz passed away peacefully in the early afternoon on Saturday July 26, 2025.

Born in Temple Texas, to Max and Annie Bode, Alibeth was the youngest of seven children and the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles, and her eldest son, Charles Jr. She is lovingly remembered by her son Jack and his wife Kate, her daughter Jan and her husband Art, her daughter-in-law Ilene, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Alibeth and her family lived in many parts of the world before settling in Oklahoma City. She was always involved in family activities from scouting and baseball to the children’s schools. She had a passion for gardening and could often be found spending hours tending lovingly to her flowers. She also enjoyed golf and bridge.

Her heart belonged to her church. She devoted herself to its community, from arranging Christmas flowers and preparing and delivering Meals on Wheels to helping organize potluck socials.

Alibeth had a gift for lighting up every room she entered. She formed deeply emotional and lasting friendships, rooted in sincerity and joy. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable and gaping void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones in heaven, and healed by the eternal love of God.

We love you, Mom.
