Allan Wade Ramsey, 86, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024, at home in Oklahoma City with his family. Allan was born August 23, 1937, in Enid, Okla. to Dennis Z. Ramsey and Wilma F. (Hiersche) Ramsey.
Allan grew up in Bethany, Okla. Graduated from Bethany High School. Attended Oklahoma Central University. Served in the U. S. Military, stationed in Germany 1958 – 1960. Married Donna Rae Retzlaff and together raised two sons Kevin Allan and Dennis John.
Allan was a Project Manager for W&W Steel Company until retirement. He was an avid history buff, which led to the love of travel to many historic and interesting sights around the world. His bags were always packed for the next adventure.
Allan is survived by wife Donna, son Kevin with his wife Mary with their two sons Jackson Allan and Joseph Walker; and son Dennis from Dallas, Texas; younger brother Wayne and his wife Myrna.
