Andy Mongold, born June 13, 1947, left this world on Thursday, Sept. 6. An Army veteran and patriot, he spent most of his career as a long haul truck driver. He leaves behind two daughters, Deidre Smith of Midwest City and Amy Welch of Oklahoma City, and one granddaughter, Kate Bunts of Midwest City. He also leaves behind three brothers, Bill Wilson, Bob Wilson and Tim Mongold, and two sisters, Janette Evans and Lisa Strong. Additionally, he leaves behind 18 nieces and nephews and countless friends. Services are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12th, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd, in Oklahoma City.
