

Ann Louise (Decker) Land of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born in Chattanooga, Oklahoma. She passed away on April 2, 2014. She was a WWII Widow and was preceded in death by her Husband, Samuel M. Land, Parents, Thomas & Aloisia Marie (Muller) Decker, 3 Brothers, Franky Decker, Joe Decker & Thomas L. Decker, 3 Sisters, Mary Francis Decker, Mary Decker and Rose Keyes and her Daughter- In-Law, Brenda (VanCampen) Land. She played the Accordion and Guitar and played and sang with her brothers in the group known as the “Sagebrush Boys.” She retired from the I.R.S after 33 years. She enjoyed the Monthly Retired IRS Luncheons; but the activities she enjoyed the most were the Spirit’76 Square Dance Club, OK Swing Club and bowling at Heritage and Windsor Lanes. She loved traveling and going on cruises with her friend, Wes and her Daughter. She loved her family, the Thunder and her special friend, Doris Perry. She leaves behind 3 Sisters, Rita Brown, Adella Gann & Teresa Mason, 3 brothers-in-law, Billie, LeRoy & William Land, her children, Samuel Land & wife, Suzanne and Norma Avery & husband, Garry: grandchildren, Kari Baker & husband, John; Lori Stroud & husband, Kiley, Trent Avery, Christy Valdez & husband, Greg and Desiree Doscher & husband, David, Charlotte Vanover & her husband TSgt Kyle, Sara White & husband, Brian and Rachel Hays: 9 great grandchildren, Samantha & Jessica Doscher, Ryder Gage & Sawyer DeWitt, Riley Valdez, Ayden Nichols, Brianna and Giada Stroud and Madelyn & Gracie Vanover, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday, April 7, 2014 in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery, OKC.
