Ann Sinclair, 93, of Oklahoma City passed away on December 1,2022. She was predeceased by husband Harold Sinclair, first husband Clarence Shields Jr., and sons Shane and Kim. She leaves behind son Mike Shields and grandchildren Robyn and Nick Hays and Amy and James Landrum and great grandchildren Troy, Colton, Lexi, Lydia Ann, and Piper.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at Hahn-Cook at 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK, 73116 on Saturday, December 10 at 10 am. Family and friends are welcome to join in person or virtually through www.hahncookfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Episcopal.
Doris Ann was born on October 15, 1929, and was taken in at three weeks of age, adopted, and lovingly raised by John and Mary McNeill of Altus, Okla.
Ann graduated from Altus High School and married Clarence Shields, Jr. They had three sons, Mike, Shane and Kim. Clarence’s sister and Altus resident, Velma Robison, remained lifelong friends with Ann.
Ann married Harold Sinclair of Oklahoma City in 1989 and enjoyed many years with him until his passing in 2012.
Recent DNA testing revealed that Ann’s biological parents were Jodie Edwards and Jackie Thelma Tate of Childress, Texas. Recently reunited with her biological mother’s surviving family, she also leaves behind Becky Bryant, Denise Bryant, Garla Bryant, Tami and Ernie Lucero, Marcella Crawford, and Cherry and Bernie Polvadore.
