I knew Armani in elementary school, at prairie queen. To be honest we didn't exactly get along well. However I had a crush on him, and had planed to ask him out. I ended up not doing it because I was scared to be rejected. Hearing about his death has effected me a lot more then I had first expected it to. When my friend told me I was in shock, the days after that I was wondering why, why would someone do this. I still don't have an answer for that, but I do wish that I had acted differently when I knew him. I always knew he was a kind, fun, and loving person, even when he would put up a wall at school, I wish I got to tell him how I felt. This has been effecting me for weeks, months even, and I only knew him for 4 years. I cant even begin to imagine how his family is doing, I hope Justice can bring them some kind of closure. I know Armani is somewhere beautiful and peaceful, and can only hope his family may see him again some day. I'm not usually religious but Armani's death made me have a new hope, hope that there's somewhere better than here. I don't know if any of his family will read this but my name is Keira, I doubt he ever talked about me but if any of his family are reading this, just know Armani had so many people who loved him, so many people who will hold a piece of him within their memories of him forever. I know I will forever remember the boy I first liked, the boy who at school I wouldn't get along with but then after school we would message each other for hours, it felt like he was the only one who really knew me back then. I'm not really sure how to end this, but I truly am sorry for all the hurt his loss has brought.

Me as dejado un enorme vacío en mi ser. Your mom is not so strong after all my son! Please continue to protect me and your siblings as you always did! Armani, you are one of a kind my son! Smart, compassionate of others, helpful, serious, a protector. My rock! Half of my life was with you, we grew up together we came up from nothing as you say! Ill always remember you watching the football games. Eating spaghetti or tacos de lengua. I will miss our morning drive before school and work! I don’t know how, but I will push so hard to make your name known son, you will never be forgotten. I pinky promise to be good and have god in my life, to see you up in heaven someday. 
In heaven you wont need a lambo you won’t need to become a lawyer son. There will be something better.

I am a teacher at Emerson South.  Armani did all his work for me, and he put detail and thought into his assignments. He was polite, quiet, and he always had a smile on his face. The other students in my class thought he was funny, and he got along with everyone in the class.         I will miss him.
