Born in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of Ann and John Bailey. He graduated from Leflore High School in 1984. He was employed by Bostic Truck Tires in The Cap shop for 28 years.
He was a firm believer in God and his works. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of others, and spending time with family. He will be remembered for taking care of others and always pushing through hard times despite the struggle.
He is survived by his son, Blake Horn, Daughter Shelby Bailey, son Daniel Smith-Bailey, Daughter Nevaeh Sorrows, and granddaughter Reagan Cooper. Parents, John and Ann Bailey of Bengal, OK, sister Rosemary Bailey of Talihina, OK, Phyllis Bailey of Leflore, OK, John Bailey of Bengal, OK, Brenda Scarberry of Del City, OK, Gordon Bailey of Bengal, OK, and Jan Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melany Bailey, and grandparents, Gordon and Rose Bailey.
The graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13,2025 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens, located at 500 SW 104th st, OKC, OK 73139.
