Benjamin Franklin Frizzell III (Frank) passed from this life on Monday, January 17, 2022 in Midwest City, Oklahoma at the age of 64. Benjamin was born on April 9, 1957, in McAlester, Oklahoma to Benjamin Franklin Frizzell, Jr. and Iwanna Frizzell (Dobbs). Benjamin graduated from Moffatt County High School in Craig, Colorado in 1975. Benjamin worked for FedEx Freight for 33 years. He married his wife, Lydia Frizzell (Molina) on May 8, 2005.
Benjamin will be remembered for his love of cars and motorcycles, basically anything with speed. He was a member of the Oklahoma Mustang Club and the Mustang Club of America. His passion was going to car shows, riding 4-wheelers, motocross, and going hunting. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. He loved watching and cheering on his grandchild playing sports, loved running around with them, and was just overall a proud Papa.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Benjamin Franklin Frizzell, Sr. and Mabel Frizzell; grandparents Cecil and Ruth Dobbs; uncles Don Frizzell, Travis Frizzell, William Frizzell, Michael Dobbs, and Ben Dobbs.
He is survived by his wife, Lydia Frizzell; his parents Benjamin Franklin Frizzell, Jr. and Iwanna Frizzell of Shawnee, Oklahoma; son Adam Frizzell and wife Heather of Pink, Oklahoma, daughter Michelle Martinez and husband Isaac of Levelland, Texas, son Christian Rush and wife Edith of Anchorage, Alaska, daughter Kaitlin Rush of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren Hannah Frizzell, Taylor Frizzell, Domonic Frizzell, Grace Frizzell, Alexander Martinez, Isabella Martinez, and Navi Rush; brothers, Jim Frizzell of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Dennis Frizzell of Chandler, Oklahoma; Rodney Frizzell and wife Penny of Lindsay, Oklahoma, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at 8805 NE 23rd Street.
