Bernice Parker

Bernice Parker, 75 year-old resident of Piedmont, Oklahoma, passed away on November 2, 2012 at her home. Born December 26, 1937 in Ocala, Florida, she was the daughter of Leslie H. Smith and Ronella Deloache Smith. Bernice was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Piedmont. She loved animals, watching TV, shopping, Baking, and most of all spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Thurman Carl Parker, Sr.. Survivors include 3 sons, Richard Garvin of Del City, OK; Bobby and his wife Lena Garvin of Pink, OK; Thurman “Tim” and his wife Glenda Parker, Jr. of Piedmont, OK; 3 daughters, Peggy and her husband Glen Ford of Oklahoma City, OK; Carol and her husband Greg Frazier of Oklahoma City, OK; and Kathy and her husband Mike Davis of Oklahoma City, OK; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Rosie Elmore of North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with Reverend Greg Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
