Betti Betti Lou McIver, 85, of Midwest City, OK passed away May 31, 2014. She was born July 13, 1928 in Chickasha, OK to Leonard and Elsie (Poe) Barton. Betti was a member of the Primrose Garden Club, Country Estates Baptist Church, and she enjoyed sewing, painting, collecting thimbles and traveling. Betti is survived by Cleo Calvert McIver, her beloved husband of 62 years; daughter, Susan Brown and husband John; 2 sons, Steve McIver and Roger McIver and wife Valerie; 7 grandchildren: Holly Faught, Robyn Chase, Jonathan Brown, Jarron McIver, Chad McIver, Kellie McIver and Casey McIver. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Claire and one grandson, Justin McIver. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm, Thurs. June 5, 2014 at Country Estates Baptist Church in Midwest City, with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
