Betty Ferguson

Betty Jo Ferguson was born January 23, 1926 to Dewey and Bessie (Arnold) Horsley and passed from this life at the age of 93 on Friday, May 17, 2019 in Lexington, OK. Betty married James Adrian Ferguson on September 20, 1947. Adrian and Betty made their home in Midwest City, OK from 1951 to 2010. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Brasington and husband Mike, and two sons, James A. Ferguson Jr. and wife Shirley and Don K. Ferguson and wife Ginger. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Lori Maynard and husband Todd, Marie Zablocki and husband Anthony, Matt Ferguson and wife Beth, Jamie Ferguson and Caileigh Ferguson; five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, J. D. Horsley. Betty was an accomplished artist whose paintings have brought joy to many family members. She enjoyed traveling, socializing with family and friends, and all things that brought beauty to life. A public visitation will take place at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service located at 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave in Oklahoma City on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 12pm-8pm with family greeting friends from 6pm-8pm. A funeral service honoring her life will take place at 2pm on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, also at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
