Betty retired from the Indian Health Service as a medical secretary. She also was a dispatcher for the Utah Highway Patrol. She filled her free time with sewing projects and word search puzzles. Betty enjoyed reading, quilting, crafting, playing cards and archeology. Her proudest moments in life were the births of her five grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Kerry E. Nicol; son KaCha McGraw; brother Joe Green and sister Minnie Evans and brother-in-law Joe Evans.
She is survived by her mother Eldee Wilson of Tulsa, OK; daughters Kelly Jo and spouse Daniel Tompkins of Oklahoma City, OK, Keila Greenfeather of Oklahoma City, OK, and Brandy Greenfeather; son-in-law John Nicol of Danville, PA; brothers Benny Green of Glenpool, OK and Bruce Wilson of Tulsa, OK; sister Kathy Vann and spouse Steve Vann of Watts, OK; five grandchildren; three nieces and seven nephews.
There will be a come and go gathering to celebrate Betty’s life on Saturday, January 25th from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, OK.
