

Betty Jean Irvin, 87, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born on April 23, 1939, in Frankston, Texas, Betty was the daughter of Willie A. Campbell and Jewel B. Cook. She spent most of her life in Oklahoma, proudly calling Midwest City her home. On February 27, 1962, Betty married the love of her life, Dale Irvin. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion, sharing many happy years together until her passing. Family was the heart of Betty's life. She found great joy in helping those she loved and was always there whenever a family member needed her. She taught the importance of family, unconditional love, and never giving up on the people you care about.Betty enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved the color purple and found happiness in sewing, crocheting, crafting, tending to her flower beds, working puzzles, and watching her favorite ABC soap operas.
She especially treasured creating handmade projects for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, leaving them with lasting reminders of her love and creativity. She will be remembered for her loving heart, her kindness, her generous spirit, and the unwavering love she shared with her family. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Willie A. Campbell and Jewel B. Cook; her siblings, Bernice Ruff, Margie Burt, Eva Rann, Will "Buck" Campbell, Charles "Nap" Campbell, JoAnn Ivie, and Durwood Campbell. She is survived by her husband Dale Irvin; children Connie Shinn and Rhonda Dudeck (Richard); sister Linda Warkentin; grandchildren Heather Wren (Jeremy), Alisha Frye, Riley Barnes (Brittany), Garrett Dudeck, Perrin Dudeck and Leslie Mathis (John); great grandchildren Abigayle Wren, Javan Graves, Zoey Frye, Hadley Barnes, Theodore Mathis, Jacob Frye, Cherish Frye, Jordan Frye, Madison Frye; and her great-great grandchild Jocelyn Frye. She also leaves behind an abundance of nieces and nephews, as well as her fur baby Rosey.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on July 17, 2026, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on July 17, 2026.
