Mrs. Betty J. Yeager peacefully entered the timeless, loving arms of the LORD during the early morning hours on May 17th, 2021. Born in Elgin, Oklahoma on April 30, 1928, Betty’s many life achievements are a testament to her caring spirit of service to others always above self.
Betty graduated from Eldorado High School in 1946 and married her Post WWII soldier-sweetheart “Charlie” Yeager, also from Eldorado, Oklahoma in 1948. She attended Hardin College in Wichita Falls, Texas before working at a local bank in Oklahoma City.
She and her husband became early members of Nichols Hills Baptist Church, now Quail Springs Baptist Church, where she served the LORD with her many talents as the church’s Financial Secretary for many years until her retirement in 1994. Betty was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and her love of photography, genealogy, the arts, and travel always will be the hallmark of her zest for life’s adventures, always attaining excellence with moral integrity.
She is survived by her sons, Don, of Edmond, and Glen (Ki) of Colorado Springs, CO; her sister, Cheryl Grossman (Neil) of Dix Hills, NY; and her brother, Monte Littlefield of Shadypoint, OK. Betty also leaves behind a long, loving history with her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We miss and love you. Rest in Heavenly Peace. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM, on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at Quail Springs Baptist Church.
