Born October 10, 1941 in Logan, West Virginia to Bob and Ina Meadows. She had many siblings, cousins, grand cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In particular, she was close to her brother, Paul Meadows, and enjoyed spending evenings laughing and telling old stories with him and his dear wife, Joy.
She married Michael, the love of her life, January 9, 1971. Together they raised 3 children: Mark Zaretzke, Tracie Hill, and Paul Campbell.
She was fierce, competitive, energetic, determined, funny, vibrant and ferociously loyal to her family. Her two favorite things in life were cooking homemade meals for her loved ones and nurturing her grandchildren. She loved deeply her grand babies: Jennifer, Zach, Chelsey, Slade, Ava, Grant, Sarah, Olivia, Amelia and Kate. And her great grandchildren: Dillon, Kylee, CJ , Lydia, Adalynn and Zain.
A memorial service was held by her family in Oklahoma. Other celebrations will be occurring in Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia over the next few weeks.
