Billie Jo Short (Baisden), 68, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, with her husband and two daughters by her side. She was born on October 5, 1952 in Logan, West Virginia to Samuel Baisden and Edna M. Baisden (Short). In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Samuel “Sammy” Baisden. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry B. Short; her mother, Edna Short of Huntington, West Virginia; two sisters, Marsha Workman of Chesapeake, Ohio and Gracie Sulak of Midwest City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Delinda (Eric) Wilson of Choctaw, Oklahoma, and Kandi (John) Giamello of Houston, Delaware; four grandchildren, Jeff (Lindsay) Wilson of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Zaynah (David) Wilson of Harrah, Oklahoma; Rachel (Dj) Giamello of Houston, Delaware; Ashley Giamello of Houston, Delaware; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own. Billie was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and would talk to whoever would listen about Him. She loved her family with all her heart. She always knew how to make everyone happy and feel special. She was our counselor and our rock. She will be greatly missed by many, especially her family. Friends and family may pay their respects on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 3-8pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home located at 8805 NE. 23rd St, in Oklahoma City. A funeral service honoring her life will be held in the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home chapel at 2pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City.
