Birgilio Orosco Hernandez

It is with great sadness to announce that Birgilio has passed at the age of 87. He was diagnosed with stage three-stomach cancer two months ago. Birgilio was at Integris Hospice House with his daughter Irma by his side as he took his last breath on August 28, 2021.

Birgilio was born in Palau, Coahuila, Mexico on May 21, 1934 to Juan and Juanita. He was the fourth of five children. He graduated high school, then he later went to work for the carbon mines where he worked for thirty something years. Then he met the love of his life Herminia, which he loved to tell the story of how they met. Her friend was going to introduce him to her, but he ended up leaving with her. Herminia stole her friend’s boyfriend (Birgilio). Then they married later and had a daughter named Irma, and he adopted her two children who were Rosalinda and Jose Luis. They were married for almost sixty years.

He leaves us with great memories. Birgilio was a person that always looked out for his own and caring. He would take the shirt off his back to give. He never held back on his words. What he had to say he would say it, if you like it or not. Biejio was our hero, the person who kept and held the family together, because in the end that was all that mattered to him was family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Herminia (Hermis), his parents Juan and Juanita, his brothers Bernabe, and Andres, Sisters, Dora, and Maria, Greatgrandmother Belen, and grandson Fidel. He is survived by his daughters Irma, Rosalinda, and son Jose Luis. His grandchildren; Hervey, Felix, Nancy, Lucy, Jose, Nelly, Patricia, Rosalinda, Maribel, Emilio, Juanito, and Yessena. Also by great grandchildren Zenaida, Jayden, Eliza, Catalina, Lexsy, Isah, Evan, Rosalyn, Elijah, Elian, Evelen, Ailen, Hector, Princess, Emeterio, Emmie, Benji, Adrian, Julie, Christian, Kiquin, Cristian, Carlos, Daniel, Liseth, and Lucia, which he loved and adored with all his heart.

Biejio will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is now rejoicing in heaven with his wife and those family members who have gone before him. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 from 10AM to 8PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services at 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, Ok. 73159.
