Robert Gorden Gold, 72 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away September 24, 2013. Born February 5, 1941 in Evans, Georgia he was the son of Gorden Green Gold and Arminey Webb Gold. Robert was a carpenter working in the construction industry for many years. He loved animals; growing flowers; cooking; and going to Casinos. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Gold of the home; 1 son, Jeff Gold; 1 daughter, Chris and her husband Andrew Estabrooks; 3 granddaughters, Erica Woods; Taylor Woods; and Briana Tobey; 2 grandsons, Eric and Chad Gold; 3 brothers, Johnny Gold; James Gold; and Vernon Gold; 4 sisters, Anne Chaffin; Shirley King; Linda and Betty Gold; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives including his pride and joy, Daisy. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to the Midwest City Humane Society.
