Bruce McLaughlin, 76 year old resident of Midwest City, OK, passed away July 23, 2015. Born December 24, 1938 in Barberton, Ohio, he was the son of Robert McLaughlin and Alberta Flora (May) Baylor. Bruce was a devoted father and grandfather who “did everything for his family”. He was a selfless and devoted man who loved to go on driving trips, often taking his grandchildren to the zoo. He was always making jokes and loved to make people laugh.
Mr. McLaughlin was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jo Ann McGuffin; and one brother, Robert McLaughlin.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Keiko McLaughlin; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Renate McLaughlin of Moore, OK; one brother, James McLaughlin of Barberton, OH; one sister, Joanne Steece of Barberton, OH; six grandchildren, Sara Parker, Amber Thomas, Michael McClung, Chris Peacock-McLaughlin, Megan Cunningham, and Kathleen Zalumbide; thirteen great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kelsie, Alyssa, Emily, Kiera, Colton, Kayle, Alex, Kinsley, Belle, Aryella, Jane, and Wells; and a host of other family and friends.
