Carol Lois (Cole) Freels

Carol Lois Freels was born August 22, 1942 and went to be with Jesus on June 2, 2020. She was married for 26 years to Charles E. Freels who proceeded her in death. She was a precious and beloved mother of 5 children, Chuck, Dean and Tim Johnston, Chris Freels and Melanie Freels-Lieb, and caring daughter in laws, Gina Freels and Anita Johnston, and grand son in law Alex Sullens. All of her children would describe her as the best mother there ever was, always kind, loving, generous and truly selfless. She was a Mimi & MeMaw to 10 grandchildren, TJ Johnston, Nikki Sullens, Jason Johnston, Joseph Johnston, Christopher & Kaleigh Freels, Savannah, Olivia & Preston Lieb & proceeded in death by Bianca Lieb, and 6 great grand children, Andrew, Trinity & Abigail Sullens, Timothy & Lochlyn Johnston, and Julian Johnston.

She was the kindest soul, with a smile and laugh that would light up a room. She loved God and her family. She also loved her white powdered donuts and a strong cup of coffee.

She was a true southern woman, born in Blue Ridge, Georgia. While she lived in numerous locations, Oklahoma is where she called home.

Daughter of Harold & Lilian Cole, she was one of 7 children, Doris Higdon, Johnny Cole, Jackie Cole, Gary Cole, and proceeded in death by Philip Cole and Wanda Burdette.

After the passing of her husband, Carol pursued her passion and became a certified private investigator. She loved painting and her dogs, Georgia & Baby. She was an amazing cook, with a strong sweet tooth and a hug that left you feeling completely loved.

She will be greatly missed, but there is peace in knowing that she is in a better place and we will see her again in heaven. Rest is Peace dear Carol.
