Carol Himes 77, passed away on January 3rd, 2024 in Oklahoma City. She is the widow of Earl Himes Sr. They shared 32 years of marriage. In those 32 years they experienced a lot of life, but always made time to dance with each other in the living room.
Born on November 22nd, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Gorrell and Ruby Cole. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, love for the beach, and most importantly the love for her family.
She is survived by her Sons, Earl Himes Jr. and wife Laura; Elzie Himes and wife Christeen; Otis Himes and wife Allison; Daughter, Kasey Hood and husband Cliff. Her sister, Bonnie Coker and husband Jerry. 16
GrandChildren, 20 Great GrandChildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Himes Sr; Her parents Gorrell and Ruby Cole; Brother, Archie Cole; Sisters, Nancy Cole Riley, and Mary Ann Elwood.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11th at 11am. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation – South Chapel located at 7720 S. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City, OK.
Followed by burial at Tribbey Cemetery.
