Carol Sue West

Carol was born on August 15, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Northwest Classen High School and then completed two years of college, attending Oklahoma State University and then later Butler University in Indiana. On October 15, 1971, she married the love of her life, Covie Alexander West, Jr. Carol & Alex shared 54 wonderful years of marriage. They raised their family in Oklahoma, eventually relocating to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1989. Carol enjoyed being a student. She had an avid interest in psychology. She was also a devoted homemaker and Christian who loved studying her Bible.

During their “empty-nester” years, Carol and Alex enjoyed living in Dallas, Texas and then Biloxi, Mississippi before returning for a few years to their home state of Oklahoma. In 2020, they moved back to Indianapolis to be near their children and grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her husband, Alex West, her daughter, Cassie Rohn and her husband, Adam Rohn, daughter-in-law, Stephanie West, grandchildren, Lauren and Tyler Rohn, and Hayley Vierling.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Rvena Styron, her brother, Mike Styron, sister-in-law, Susie Styron and her loving son, Jeremy West.

A private memorial will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in her hometown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at a later, to be determined date.
