Carole Strong

Carole Jean Walker-Strong, age 72. Of OKC left the confines of this world to be with her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2010. Carole was born in OKC, on July 6, 1938, to John and Eugenia Walker and was preceded in death by her late husband Keith Strong also of OKC. Carole was a member of the first graduating class at Northwest Classen High School in 1956. She attended Oklahoma State University and majored in Home Economics. Carol was a devoted Christian attending The Crossings Community Church where she helped many grieving folks through her work in the Stephens Ministry. Carole enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and working on various class reunion functions with her fellow Knight classmates of ’56. Carole is survived by three children: Chris Strong, Phillip Wilson and Mark Wilson as well as five grandchildren: Alexandra Wilson, Casey Smith, Collin Wilson, Kileyann Wilson and Mitchell Wilson. Viewing will be at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors on Monday 8 am to 9 pm. The memorial service will occur on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 in the chapel at The Crossings Community Church at 3:00 pm. The family wants to send a special thanks to all of Ladies from her bridge club, her friends from the class reunion group as well as a special appreciation to Ms. Anne Clark and all of her fellow Stephens Ministers.
