Charlene LaVone Catron

Charlene LaVone Catron, 86, was born on September 24, 1926 in Tonkawa, OK to Orville and Lowatta (McGaha) Baker. She passed away Oct 26 2012 in Okla City OK, 3 weeks after sustaining catastrophic injuries in a fall.

Charlene worked for Ma Bell in KS and OK before embarking on a 20+ year career at JC Penney, working Downtown OKC and then at Shepherd Mall.

She is preceded in death by her parents Orville and Lowatta (McGaha) Baker, brother Donald Baker, husband Wayne Williams, Grandson Troy Catron and son-in-law Jerry McFadin.

She is survived by husband of 44 years Leon H, Catron and their blended family Gary Williams (Shirley) Okla City OK, Toni Thompson (Bill) Okla City OK, Kimberly Fitz (Lane) Moore OK, Sherry Hadley (LaJuan) Edmond OK, Linda McFadin, Richardson TX, Dale Catron (Brenda) Springfield IL, Lee Catron (Janet) Santa Clarita CA.

Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Diana Baker husband Jonathan and their children Ashley, Noah, Emily, Joel, Kayla and Luke, Cary Looney husband Joshua and soon to be born Logan, Elizabeth Coffman and husband Brent, Tamara Elrod and husband Caleb, Trisha Adams and husband Micah, Ross Thompson, Joey Fitz and son Kaden, Trent Fitz wife Heidi and their children Taylor and Toren, Kimberly Chandler husband Jim and daughter Ashley and soon to be born Kamryn, Kristi Lacy and husband Chris, Clifford Hadley with Keitha and children Abigail and Corbin, Sarah Northup husband Shawn and son Joshua, Daniel Hadley, Erin Stanley and husband Jon, Tamara Leesman husband Shannon and children Brian, Bradley and Brandi, Todd Catron, wife Jessica and children Samantha, Logan and Cameron, Jennifer Catron and children Jacob and Justin

Visitation will be held Monday, October 29, 2012 from 12-8 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow.
