Charlene enjoyed working on her arts and crafts projects, making Easter treats, hats, and collecting dolls. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Keith Harris, Jr.; grandson, Lawnarus Green; and three siblings. Survivors include her children, Melanie Ann Harris, Lisa Ann Gibbs, Lawrence Everett Green, Jr. and wife Sirita, Doris Jean Calhoun and husband Billie, Lesse Renea Boone; sister, Nadine Smith and husband R.J.; 23 grandchildren; and 22 ½ great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Greater Cleaves Memorial CME Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
