My grandpa always called me a “nuisance.” I talked nonstop and couldn’t sit still when I was little, so I’m sure I was a nuisance, but it always made me laugh when he said it. 

He and Grandma would take us down to Lake Texoma some weekends during the summer when we were kids, and it was so fun. I enjoyed traveling down there as much as I did the lake. 

When I was in High School, Grandma and Grandpa took Chris, Laura, and me on a cruise to Hawaii. It was an amazing trip, and I’m so glad we were able to spend time together.  We trekked all over those islands together, and I’ll never forget being on the ship watching the July 4th fireworks on Maui. 

I miss my Grandpa, and I’ll miss being his nuisance.
