Charles Edward Redding, 73 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away August 19, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born October 27, 1939 in Warner, Oklahoma, he was the son of Charlie Lee Redding and Mary Ellen (Potter) Redding. He was an Air Force veteran. Charles loved fishing and camping around Lake Eufaula. Charles was a self-employed painter and he loved working. He loved BBQing; rebuilding autos and vans, and spending time with his family, especially grandchildren. Survivors include 1 son, Edward Wayne Holden of El Reno, OK; 2 daughters, Dianna Redding of Bethany, OK; and Patricia Newberg of Midwest City, OK; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Arvid Bias of Spiro, OK; Lee Redding of Tulsa, OK; 2 sisters, Shirley Brown of Blackwell, OK; and Doris Enid of Yukon, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
