Charlie Phipps, born November 21, 1937 to M.L. and Elsie Phipps, died January 31, 2022. He was born in Mountain View, OK and moved to Midwest City, OK, when he was twenty-one and lived there the rest of his life. He was an accountant at Tinker Air Force Base after graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. At Tinker, he met Linda Beasley, who became his wife of 54 years. In 1968 he became a Christian and was baptized. He was a member of Country Estates Baptist Church of Midwest City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one brother.
He is survived by three brothers, his two sons; David Scott Phipps of Texas and Charles Michael Phipps of Midwest City, three Grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Charlie will be held Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 North Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
