Charlotte Ann Ingram, 75, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, surrounded by loved ones, following a stroke caused by a blood clot in her brain.
Born on July 25, 1950, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, Charlotte was the second child of Elbert and Joyce Ingram of Lookeba-Sickles, Oklahoma. She spent her early childhood in Calvin, Oklahoma, before her family relocated to Lookeba-Sickles when she was 13. A proud Oklahoman at heart, she went on to study at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she earned her instructor's degree in cosmetology.
Charlotte built a remarkable career as an accomplished hair stylist and designer, salon owner, and cosmetology instructor. Her talents and entrepreneurial spirit led her to own and operate successful beauty salons in both California and Oklahoma. She also held a license to carry concealed firearms and certification as a private detective, and she served as a dispatcher for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation before devoting herself fully to motherhood.
Above all else, Charlotte lived for her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother to four: son Christopher Thomas Davis, 57, of Oklahoma City; son Chad Jeremy Quisenberry (deceased April 2024) of Oklahoma City; daughter Colby Love Davis, 48, of Oklahoma City; and daughter Candra Lea Davis, 45, of Midwest City. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Charlotte is also survived by her three brothers, J.R. Ingram, Jerry Ingram, and Donnie Ingram (deceased 2019); and her two sisters, Doris Simmons and Mary Lancaster.
As a single parent for much of her children's lives, Charlotte raised her family with unwavering strength, the highest moral standards, and boundless love—often going above and beyond what seemed possible. She was the rock of stability for her children and grandchildren, instilling in them values that will endure for generations.
Known for her stunning beauty, electric personality, and ability to light up any room, Charlotte was the life of the party—thoughtful, loving, generous, compassionate, sweet, funny, interesting, and deeply intelligent. She had a profound gift for connecting with people; everyone who met her was instantly drawn to her warmth and enjoyed her company immensely.
Charlotte's beautiful and lasting impact will live on in the countless lives she touched.
Her legacy of love, resilience, and joy will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her.
She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
