Christina Kay Rowson

Christina was born in Port Huron, Michigan to Timothy and Penny Strauss. She graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1991 and earned her degree in Criminal Justice in 1994 from St Clair County Community College. Her career as a Victims Rights Advocate for Macomb County Michigan and Sarasota County Sheriff's Department in Florida was her passion. After her relocation to Lawton, Oklahoma, she enjoyed managing apartments and spending time with her family.

Christina was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary post 5263, and a member of the La Femme's. The Ladies organization of the veterans 40/8. Cabane 616, she was an avid Dart Player in Lawton.

Chris is survived by her newly wedded husband Michael Rowson. Two daughters Jodi Strauss (Ian Reyes), Jaci Farnsworth (Ronin Vasseur). Step children Markus, Christian, Kayden and AvaMarie Rowson, GrandGoblins; Cylen, Jerrylynn Vasseur, Xavier, Aife and Christine. Sisters Candy(Clint) Hanza and April(Christopher) Brumm.

She was Aunt Christmas to Kelcey and Taylor Ross, Tyler and Miranda Brumm, Calvin, Corbin and Jeslyn Hanza. Aunt Amy Charles-Thrushman. And many cousins who were a loving part of her life and Former mother in law and friend Katy East.

Chris was proceeded in death by so many loved and missed, including parents Timothy and Penny Strauss. Grandparents Ernest and Marie Strauss, Erwin and Linda Charles, and a beloved husband Bo Hidinger.
