Christine P. Vassilopoulos passed away December 31, 2012. She was born July 31, 1924 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years Andrew, her parents William and Demetra Panos and her brother Steve Panos. She is survived by her daughters Sophia and Nikie Vassilopoulos, her sister and brother-in-law Mary and Ted Zaemes, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church her entire life and served on the parish council and as Sunday school director. After she raised her family, she worked for Johnson Marketing Research doing interviewing and surveys. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 3 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
