Chuyen Thi Doan

Chuyen Thi Nguyen was born on April 15, 1945, in Saigon, Vietnam. A devoted Catholic, she lived a life rooted in prayer, humility, and faith. She was the beloved wife of Dam Van Doan for 63 years, and together they shared a life of commitment, sacrifice, and enduring love grounded in faith.

She was a loving mother to four sons and five daughters, a beloved grandmother to nine grandchildren, and a joyful great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren. She expressed her love most beautifully through caring for her family, especially cooking for those she loved, welcoming every family gathering with warmth, generosity, and joy.

She gave selflessly of herself, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her family was the center of her life, and she willingly sacrificed much to build and nurture the family she loved so dearly.The family gives thanks to God for the gift of her life and entrusts her soul to His infinite mercy, confident in the promise of eternal life.

Visitation services will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK, 73159. The visitation is scheduled for December 16, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on December 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on December 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. 4201 S. McKinley Ave. Oklahoma City, Ok 73109. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests prayers for the repose of the soul of Chuyen Thi Nguyen.
