Clayton Gerald Satterfield, 71, of Jones, OK passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2009. He was born December 2, 1938 to Clayton and Leona (Rice) Satterfield in Wheeler, TX. He served his country in the U.S. Army and married Nancy Young March 20, 1981 in Amarillo, TX. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jones; enjoyed fishing, riding bulls, and being at the lake. He worked as a truck driver for 45 years, retiring in 1999. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Davida, and brother, Dale "Butch" Satterfield. Surviving family members are his wife, Nancy of the home; daughter Christy Satterfield; other children: Pam Frost of Amarillo, TX, Jimmy Hensley of Burkburnett, TX, Mary McCuishion of Amarillo, TX, and Philip Hensley of Moore, OK; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren including: Megan Burns, Reece Burns and David Burns; one brother Gary Satterfield; and other nieces, nephews and family members and friends.
