After Clifford graduated from Capitol Hill High in 1961, he held different jobs such as Burger Bros Grocery and being an usher at a movie theater, until he was drafted into the Army in 1964 for two years, then finally spent 38 years at Western Electric.
On April 2, 1964, he married the love of his life, Johnnie Gibson. They went on to have three wonderful children LaDawna Beasley, Danny Hogue, and Carla Chamberlayne.
You could always catch Clifford hunting, camping, fishing, or watching his favorite movies, probably from the TV he made from scratch. He fished so much that he broke a record at Chickasaw Lake for catching the largest fish.
Clifford belonged to numerous clubs and organizations such as Lucient Motorcycle club, and the NRA. While in the Army his greatest achievement was getting a trophy for sharp shooting. Clifford also got a watch for working with AT&T for over 30 years. He always loved his trips that he took such as camping at Roaring River Missouri, Silver Dollar City, and his trip across the country to name a few.
Clifford was proceeded in death by both his parents, Daniel and Della, and his Wife Johnnie Marcell Hogue. Clifford survived by his Siblings Carol Jean Pillow and husband Mike, and Clayton Ray Hogue and wife Deanna; his children Danny Hogue and wife Lisa, LaDawna Beasley and husband Casey, and Carla Chamberlayne; his grandchildren Zachary Beasley, Alayna Cole, Brent Hogue, Wesley Hogue, Dustin Hogue, Chayton Hogue, Halen Manek, Jerisa Carroll, Aimee Howland, and Adam Howland; His wonderful great grandchildren, Elisabeth Moser, MaKayla Hogue, Kinley Hogue, Alix Carroll, Peyton Hogue, Zane Beasley, Rhett Beasley, Lyla Cole, Emma Cole, Azreal Howland, and Aurora Howland and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
