Clifford Dean Little

December 28, 1951August 12, 2019

Clifford Dean Little went to be with the lord on August 12, 2019. Dean, the loving father of three sons, passed away at age 67 after a long fought battle with cancer.

Dean was born on December 28, 1951 in McAlester, OK to Clifford Preston Little and Mary Lou (Williams) Little. He graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1970 where he lettered in basketball. Dean joined the United States Air Force after high school and proudly served his country for 8 years. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 1982. Shortly after that he came back to Oklahoma where he began a long career in law enforcement and private security. Dean was a creative man; over the last several years he developed a passion for woodworking. He loved spending time using his lathe and creating works of art for his family and friends as well as the nurses that cared for him. He also enjoyed painting peaceful country landscapes. The thing he loved most of all making others laugh. During his many years of treatment he was always friendly to the staff that cared for him. He knew their jobs were stressful and he looked forward to bringing a smile to their faces with his quick wit.

Clifford Dean Little was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Preston Little. He is survived by his mother Mary Lou Little of Choctaw, OK, his brother Ronald Little of Midwest City, OK, his brother Jerry and his wife Cindy Little of Choctaw, OK, his son Troy and his wife Star Little of Bethany, OK, his son Cary Little of Harrah, OK, and his son Shane and his wife Wendi Little of Corinth, TX, his grandchildren John Tyler and Wyatt Little of Bartlesville, OK and Madelyn Little of Corinth, TX. His nephew’s Greg and his wife Richelle Little of Purcell, OK and Christopher Little of Guthrie, OK as well as his niece Laura Little of Shawnee, OK. Dean will be dearly missed by all of those who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend both the viewing and graveside service. The viewing is on Friday, August 16, 2019 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.

The memories I have of you is us building a home in Alaska, Arkansas and Oklahoma. During that time we created three of the best sons and three of the most amazing grandchildren . So rest in peace.
