After moving to Boise and marrying the love of her life on April 13, 1968, she moved with Duane to El Paso, Texas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Plano, Texas and finally settling in Oklahoma City in 1976. Connie was a devoted wife, mother and Gram. She delighted in adventure, travel, and used her gifts of creativity and hospitality to make a loving home where she welcomed both family and friends.
Connie is survived by her husband, Duane; daughter, Angela Westover and husband Tom; son, Brandon Lehman and wife Rachael; brothers, Darrel Kalbfleisch and wife, Alice, Wayne Kalbfleisch and wife, Jeanne; sister-in-law Linda Henning. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Tyler and wife, Jenni, Justin, Dalton, Marley, Max, and great-grandson Teddy, many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family members to cherish her memory.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Leona Kalbfleisch; brother, Dale Kalbfleisch; sister-in-law, Noreen Kalbfleisch and nephew, Randy Kalbfleisch.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family to receive guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK. A funeral service will be held at in honor of Connie’s life on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cherokee Hills Baptist Church, 5700 N.W. 63rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73132 with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
