Dana Michelle Hearrell

Dana Michelle Hearrell was born on January 19, 1967 to Michael Gene Bonham and Paulette Elizabeth (Edwards) Pettigrew in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She passed away July 6, 2024, at the age of 57 in Midwest City.

Dana graduated from Carl Albert High School with the class of 1985. She later graduated with a Business Degree from Eastern Oklahoma Technology Center. Dana had many adventures, she was a secretary, a bank teller, a cafeteria worker, and a housekeeper. Dana enjoyed working with children, she worked very hard to earn her CDL and drove a School Bus for 9 years. She loved serving the Lord during her time working for Bethel Church and Harmony Christian Church, both of Choctaw. She lived in Jones from 2000-2019 then purchased her first home in Midwest City. Dana was happily divorced!

A couple of her favorite things were the color blue and 80s Rock n Roll music. Dana enjoyed hanging out with her best friend and precious daughter, Danielle. She tried very hard to fill the role of single parent to Danielle and to teach her to be strong, confident, resilient, and kindhearted. Dana was a good listener, she was a strong independent woman who never judged anyone. She always had a positive outlook. Her favorite pastime would be going to eat at Cheddar’s followed by watching a good movie. Most anything could make Dana laugh, she will be fondly remembered for her quick wit and beautiful smile. She always had a song in her heart. As we mourn Dana’s passing, we must remember that she is no longer in pain and is happily reunited with the loved ones that went before her.

Dana is preceded in death by her parents, Michael Gene Bonham and Paulette Elizabeth (Edwards) Pettigrew. She is survived by her precious daughter Danielle Mishell Hearrell and her bonus son, Clayton Mutziger; fur babies, known as the grancats Simon and Fiona; grandsnakes Gene and Nanner.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, July 15, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home with interment following at Jones IOOF Cemetery.
