My last time with Danny was this past fall full moon paddleboarding on lake Hefner at midnight. The conditions were rough that night. It was pretty windy, so the water was choppy and challenging for a first time, but that didn't stop Danny from wanting to do it again. We were both looking forward to more times on the water. Danny even wanted to eventually get a board of his own so he could start getting more exercise because it was something he really enjoyed doing! He was determined because he knew it was healing for him, but because I lived at grand lake it hadnt been possible for us to get together yet. I'm struggling with not being able to help him complete that dream, but at this point I must just know he is in peace and free from the challenges he had been enduring. I'm going to miss you Danny!

You came back into my life after years of not seeing each other. You told me you had something you wanted me to do when you were gone. Sadly you never shared what it was with me. I will always wonder what you needed me to do for you, especially after all you have done for me and my family. I'll see you tomorrow, Goober.

Danny, it’s gonna suck not being able to see you next time we come to the 405. I miss your random texts from dog tags to just checking in and asking what we may want to check out when we come to visit. Thanks for always making time to see us when we would come down. Until next time.........Kat

It was an honor to have you on our Football team at Oaks. You always did your best in classes as a student and on the football field. The most special thing was that you cared about all your fellow classmates, teammates and your Coaches... and that carried through your life. I will miss your special emails and messages each day, Dano. So... one last time, Danny... "Book'em Dano"! Love, Coach G.
