I was Darrell's nurse in the hospital. I had the pleasure to care for him for 3 weeks and I've never met a better person. He was so sweet, kind and I loved having long conversations with him. He was definitely a very unique person I loved his sense of humor. Darrell always talked about his lodge friends and his family. He was a good friend, and I truly enjoyed spending time with him. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was Darrell’s PCA, I will always cherish the many conversations we had. When I first met Darrell he specified how things had to be because things had to be a certain way. I thank God for putting us in each others lives because we learned a lot from each other. I will always admire the man he was. He struggled a long time and I helped him as much as I could be it to warm him up rub his legs wash his clothes and make sure they were folded and put in the correct place. I won’t miss the smell of that baked potato filled with butter and onions. I will forever miss my friend.
