David Lee Skinner

David Lee Skinner, 72, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed peacefully from this life on June 6, 2020. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral Service, and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 beginning at 10:00am. David Lee Skinner was born June 3, 1948 in Reedley, California to Clyde N. Skinner and Emily Estelle (Davis) Skinner. He passed away on June 6, 2020 at the age of 72. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1966.

He was employed by the Oklahoma City Police Department where he retired in 2000. He served in the United States Army, First Cavalry Division from 1967-1968 in Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Estelle Skinner, one brother, Clyde N. Skinner, Jr., and one daughter Carey Ann Skinner. He is survived by son David Lee Skinner Jr., and wife Heather, and four grandchildren, Grant, Megan, Summer and Gage of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 12:00pm-5:00pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave, OKC, OK 73159. A graveside service is planned for Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00am at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115.
