His brave and intriguing commentaries always left me enthralled. As his health deteriorated, I knew the sad day was coming but still the news hit me like a truck. Thanks to the Internet his words and wisdom live on. R.I.P. David.

I just found out that David has passed on. I am utterly shocked. David worked with me in a special education program in Hamden, CT in the early 80's. We shared many wonderful moments together. Although we havent seen each other for many years, I always felt close to him. He was amazingly talented. I once read an article by Carl Sagan in which he stated the 10 things that students really needed to learn in high school. I came in to school the next day and asked David to illustrate the 10 things, and over the course of a few weeks he did a beautiful series of drawings for the classroom. I hung them on the wall of my classroom, and I said that I would always have them wherever I taught. Over the course of 32 years of teaching, I moved my classroom many times - but I always had them up on the walls. David was a true warrior, with an independent and loving mind. I pray for his soul to be received with honor and dignity. sam goldenberg PS... I would be happy to send a copy of his drawings to any family member who is interested in them. Just email me sgoldenberg2004@yahoo.com.

Dr. Yeagley will be missed by his friends from Serbia. Our hearts grieve together with yours. We will pray to see him again one day....I know you'll find what you've been fighting for-far beyond that shining star.

I learned only today of David's death. My heart has an empty place now, and I will miss the passion he had for life and people. God's grace be with his family and friends always and all ways.

Stunned, utterley, to learn of Dr Yeagley's death. To his family, students, collegues,
and his many friends, I am

sorry for your loss.

solace in the knowledge that when a flame burns so fiercely, brightly and unwaveringly as his, it is eternal. His generous gifts of music, his writings, the experiences he shared with his
followers, and his warrior spirit will remain in this world for the
future. I will continue to learn more about this man and cherish most especially, his tenacity, his razor sharpe witt and candid humor. Shocking, unpredictable, brutally honest, and his magical ability to tell
stories from the past in the
most present sense...he struck down years in their telling, their characters sitting in the room beside you.
I will continue to follow the lifework of David Yeagley. I look forward to it with gleeful
anticipation, for his life is symbolic of treasure so rare that its abundance never ends.
Thank you for sharing it with our world as we know it.

So sorry to hear of his death. He was brilliant, simply brilliant. I enjoyed my conversations with him. I will miss him. I know that I speak for all his friends here in and around Rohnert Park, CA, when I say that he was loved and respected by many members of this community.

Laughter - Truth - Hugs - Wisdom - Faith - Love - Compositions both Musical and Literature - Portraits in pencil & Artwork - An Exceptional Human Being
A man who chose to give life, give every person that he met, his personal best. Believing that how he treated others & life, was his gift to God, that God gave him this life. LOVE most of all, was a gift he gave endlessly, always giving glory to God. I treated him like a big brother for 35 years. I'm glad the world got to know him, a warrior on the soccer field, Chopin in concert hall, the most deeply faith filled man I have ever known. Have any of us learned by his example? Without you . . .

To the Yeagley Family: That David is now hearing "Well done good and faithful servant", at peace , no more pain or suffering. And, hearing once more Mrs. Yeagley saying "Hello Darlin'", enveloped in love forever. With Love,

FROM THE FAMILY
