Dayla L. Kuhlman, 53 year-old resident of Harrah, OK, passed away June 14, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born January 25, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Dale and Olive Roberta (Harrell) Lee, Jr. Dayla was a loving wife and mother, her family’s happiness and needs were her primary concern in life. She was a longtime church secretary at Harrah Freewill Baptist Church. Dayla was a gifted organizer, especially on Facebook. She organized all sorts of get-togethers and even organized a group of ladies all named Dayla. Dayla had raised two daughters and helped raise 2 nephews also. She loved to make people laugh. On her trips to Norman on Toby Tuesday’s to see her counselor she would tell people that she was “Hunting Toby” just to get them to smile or laugh. Dayla was a big Elvis Presley fan. Survivors include her husband Buddy Kuhlman of the home; her parents, Dale and Olive Lee, Jr. of Choctaw, OK; 2 daughters, Amanda Kuhlman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Bonnie Kuhlman of the home; 4 grandchildren, Leah; Aidan; Lily; and Leslee; 1 sister, Diane and her husband, Darren Montgomery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 niece, Megan; and 3 nephews, Ricky; Gary; and Cory. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with burial to follow in Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, Oklahoma.
